Volunteer Information

**Volunteer hours will not be required for the 2022 Baseball Season**

Our youth organization depends on volunteer help!

As a result, each family will be required to volunteer 2 hours of time per registered player.

Volunteer hours may be satisfied through the following manners:

Head Coach
Assistant Coach
Concession Stands
St. Anne's Field Maintenance

During registration you will select which type(s) of volunteer activities you are interested in assisting with. If you sign up to be a coach, we will contact you once the teams are assembled with further information. If you select concession stand, we will send an email when concession shifts have been posted to sign up for.

BUYOUT OPTION
For families who wish to do so, you may buyout your volunteer requirement for a $100 fee which can be selected during the registration process or anytime during the season on this page below.

CANCELLING OR RESCHEDULING A SHIFT
SYBA understands that things happen which may cause a volunteer to have to cancel or reschedule their shift. You may cancel or reschedule our shift up to 24 hours prior to the start of the scheduled shift without penalty.

RAINOUTS
In the event that inclement weather results in the cancellation of an event within 4 hours prior to your scheduled shift, you will not be required to reschedule those volunteer hours missed and will receive full credit for your planned time.

NO SHOW / NO SELECTION FEE
Should a volunteer fail to cancel or reschedule their shift within 24 hours or more prior to the start of the scheduled shift, a NO SHOW FEE of $100 will be added to their account.
If a family fails to select a volunteer shift during the season, the NO SELECTION FEE of $100 will be added to their account.

Volunteer Requirement EXEMPTION
Head Coaches, Assistant Coaches and SYBA Board Members will receive an exemption from the volunteer requirements for all participating children.
