Awards for Fundamentals
In an effort to promote fundamentals in SYBA players, we have developed the Fundamental Fan Award!
A HUGE thanks to Pizza Planet for supporting the program by allowing us to reward players with a FREE Kid's Cone when we see them demonstrating good baseball fundamentals.
Because it's so late in the 2014 season, our Fundamentals Program is very shortened. But for 2015 there will be lots of interaction with players, parents, coaches, and "surprise fans" to help encourage fundamentals in the players at all levels of baseball.
Some of the key fundamentals we would like to encourage in our players as the season winds to a close are:
In 2015 there will be more aspects to the program, but for now - discuss fundamentals with your players and let them know they could get an award for demonstrating these fundamentals when they play!
